CPP is a kind of bioactive peptide made by taking cow's milk casein as raw material and through biological technology. It can be used for all sorts of nutrition and health food to effectively promote the absorption and utilization of human body to calcium, iron, zinc and other bivalent mineral nutrients.
CPP is refined and purified from pancreatic enzymes or the casein hydrolyzed from trypsin. Its core structure is: _Ser(P)-Ser(P)-Ser(P)-Glu-Glu-(Ser: Serine, Glu: Glutamic acid, P: Phosphoric acid base), in which, the residues of phosphoserine (-Ser(P)-) exist in cluster and have negative charges when the pH value in intestines presents alkalescence. This can prevent digestive ferment from further acting, stabilize CPP and avoid CPP from being further hydrolyzed in intestines. The domestic research found that the smaller the mole ratio of nitrogen and phosphorus in CPP, the shorter the peptide chains of CPP and the greater the density of phosphoric acid base, then the higher the CPP purity and the stronger the absorption and utilization of calcium.
